Thriller narrative
Two mates have heard about a mysterious forest by some of the local people in the town. They intend to investigate even after being warned by so many people not to enter. It has been told that if you enter the forest there’s a very likely chance you won’t get out. No one is sure whether it is myth or legend. As no one has returned to tell the tail. Is it an animal or is it something more sinister.
Characters
. Blake: - the leader of the group. The alpha male
. Jayden: - the muscle. The one if someone from outside the group started a fight he would be the one to stop it
Person in the forest: - the two boys don’t know anything about this person. The backstory of the person is that when he was a child around 5 years old he came to the forest with his parents. While they were on to of this peak in the middle of the forest the boy fell over the edge. The parents tried their best the find their child but they never did. All know is that 30 years later this person has a vengeance towards people because no one ever came to save him.
Mise en scene
Setting: - The film is primarily going to set in this thick and dense forest.
Costume: - the three boys will have cloths suitable for exploring and camping they will also have to carry all the equipment.
For the person in the woods he will be wearing quite makeshift cloths from the people he has killed in the forest.
Lighting: - it will set in the day time but on a very cloudy day so the camera will still be able to capture the footage.
Make up: - the boys may have some dirt on the face and things like that.
The person in the woods will have scares and other injury’s from when he fell of the peak as a child.
Expression: - when the boys know they are being hunted there expressions will be very scared and worried.
The person in the woods will have a very angry expression because the boys are stepping on his turf.
Props: - the props will the main items the boys need to survive in the forest.
The person in the woods will have a make shift weapon make from things he has found in the forest.
. Shot type: - I think it should be hand heled because if the boys are exploring and investigating everything in the forest they are always going to be filming with a handheld camera.
Representation
. In the film I want to represent white British males who have an constant urge to explore and record there finds to make into a documentary I will do this by using the type of dialog the characters will us. The characters are around the age of 19-20 who attend a university you could imagen the way the characters are going to speck.
